Reflections on Blogging

I'm not sure that I have blogged enough to have a reflection. I'm not even sure I enjoy writing enough to have a blog page. What do I need that responsibility for? Now that I have a page, I feel that I need to take care of it, and I'm already taking care of too much as it is. I have 22 fifth graders, two teenagers, a high maintenance husband, three dogs, and a cat that I have to take care of. Did I mention laundry? Do you know how much laundry a teenage girl can accumulate? I mean once they try on the clothes they have to be washed. So, now on top of doing laundry I have to maintain a blog page. Why am I doing a blog page you might ask when it is so obvious that I don't want to? It is because I am part of a literacy workshop that is insisting that this is the way to go. So here I am blogging. Actually it sounds more like venting to me but, maybe that's another blog?

Introduction

Hi, I'm Cindy, and I'm a fifth grade teacher. I am starting my 21st year as a teacher and blogging is new to me. So far, I think it's great. I can see the benifits of using this as a classroom tool. I know my parents would love to be able to "blog" back at me!
